The innovative wideband driver with a dome made of pure beryllium in an ‘M’ shape, along with a frameless voice coil, forms an extremely lightweight and responsive system.
• As a result, these headphones boast the widest frequency range from 5 Hz to 40 kHz and an impedance of only 35 ohms, with a sensitivity of 106 dB. This means that the headphones can be used with both stationary Hi-Fi amplifiers and less powerful portable devices.

• The exclusive driver was not the sole focus of Focal engineers. They also integrated ventilation openings in the closed-back earcups to expand the frequency response, utilized EVA foam behind the driver to absorb high-frequency reflections, and incorporated acoustic diffusers to eliminate standing waves, ensuring distortion-free sound reproduction.
