These monitors are insane. I’ve seen probably every review about these, so I thought I knew what to expect – but I’m shocked every time I listen to these. When I’m mixing, I genuinely forget their size and price because they sound BIG.
The Kali LP-UNFs are very detailed and have a big soundstage, giving you that sense of being inside the music that high end monitors/speaker systems do. At this size, I’m not sure how they reproduce such a good amount of low-end, but they do. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well my mixes translated across as well. Being able to EQ them on the monitors themselves is super useful.
The only thing I wish they provided is a longer cable between the monitors. The provided cable, while sufficient, is going lie on your desk behind your screen/laptop because it is too short to route neatly underneath. I’m glad they sell a longer cable, I just wish this came with that.
Overall, if you’re on the fence about these, I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed by these little boxes of magic 🙂
