The Headliner Melrose Production Desk – HL24010 is a compact, efficient workstation designed for producers, musicians, and content creators in home studios or small project rooms. Its main work surface offers ample depth for laptops, controllers, and desktop gear while maintaining a streamlined footprint. A slide-out keyboard tray supports full-size 61-note MIDI controllers with three adjustable heights for ergonomic playing. Dual height-adjustable monitor shelves on steel poles allow precise speaker placement without cluttering the desk. Cable routing is integrated throughout, and a rear shelf manages power supplies and excess cables. An integrated side-mounted headphone hook keeps headphones accessible while preserving workspace.

Compact Studio Workstation

The Melrose is built for efficiency in small rooms or "bedroom studios." Dimensions: 121 cm width (approx. 47.6") makes it wide enough for a dual-monitor setup but narrow enough to fit against small walls or in corners. Streamlined Design: Its open-leg steel frame prevents the room from feeling "closed in," which is common with bulkier wooden furniture.

Slide-Out Keyboard Tray

The centerpiece of the desk is its heavy-duty keyboard drawer. Compatibility: It is specifically sized to fit most 61-note MIDI controllers (Max width: 115.5 cm). Adjustable Ergonomics: Unlike standard desks, this tray has 3 selectable height positions (64 cm, 65 cm, or 66.7 cm). This allows you to find the perfect balance between legroom and a comfortable playing height for your wrists. Weight Capacity: Supports up to 15 kg (33 lbs), making it sturdy enough for weighted-action controllers.

Adjustable Monitor Shelves

The Melrose includes a unique speaker mounting system that frees up your entire main desktop. Independent Platforms: Two 24 x 24 cm shelves mounted on height-adjustable steel poles. 360° Rotation: The shelves can be swiveled to point directly at your ears (the "sweet spot"), which is crucial for accurate mixing. High Elevation: By raising your studio monitors to ear level, you eliminate the need for separate desktop speaker stands.

Cable Management

Headliner has designed the desk to keep "cable spaghetti" hidden. Discreet Rear Shelf: A dedicated shelf sits behind the main work surface to hold power strips, USB hubs, and bulky power bricks (common for audio interfaces and external hard drives). Open Routing Path: The open-leg design allows cables to be zip-tied or routed down the steel frame, keeping the floor area beneath the desk clear.
