You can also easily load your own Clones and third-party impulse response files via Dropbox or Mac/PC with the USB transfer mode.

Full Compatibility with HeadRush Prime and Core

The Flex Prime boasts the same processing power as the larger, more expensive Prime and Core, but in a compact and portable enclosure. Perfect for the player on-the-go, this unit enables up to 14 DSP blocks (FX, amps, cabs, clones, IRs, etc.) per preset in one of 5 different signal path types. All presets, setlists, and clones created on the HeadRush Prime and Core are compatible with the Flex Prime, so whether the Flex Prime is your road buddy or gig bag companion, it is an affordable and tremendously capable addition to any guitar or bass player's arsenal.

Built-in USB Audio Interface for Recording and Reamping

Flex Prime's USB connection opens up a world of recording and reamping directly to a computer. When connected, you can use the HeadRush Flex Prime as a 24-bit 96 kHz audio interface. The reamp function works by sending audio from your DAW through the Flex Prime and then recording it back into your DAW. This allows you to easily add nuance and tonal qualities only attainable with a hardware amplifier into their recordings. Any veteran studio professional will agree that this method saves valuable time and the HeadRush Flex Prime makes it easier than ever.

Pedalboard Friendly and Road Ready

Powerful and portable in equal measure, the HeadRush Flex Prime is perfect for the player on the go at just 3.5 lbs. (1.59 kg). In addition, the Flex Prime can fit easily on pedalboards as well as inside backpacks and instrument cases.

All The Connections You Need

The HeadRush Flex Prime can integrate seamlessly into your current rig with a series of inputs to suit any and all of your performance needs. The rear panel of the unit is packed with inputs and outputs, including a 1/4” input for guitars, (2) 1/4" TRS outputs switchable between amp or line level, a 1/8” (3.5mm) headphones output, a 1/8” (3.5mm) stereo aux input, and 1/8” (3.5mm) MIDI input and output connections. The Flex Prime also features a 1/4” stereo FX loop to integrate external FX pedals at any point in your signal chain.

Best-In-Class Looper with Saving and MIDI Sync Functions

The HeadRush Flex Prime features a highly functional looping feature—perfect for layering textures and melodies during a live show or as a potent songwriting tool, ready to go whenever inspiration strikes. Loops can be up to 5 minutes long with a capacity of 20 minutes of layered audio.

Gapless Preset Switching with Reverb/Delay Tail Spillover

The HeadRush Flex Prime's multi-core processor enables gapless preset switching with reverb/delay tail spillover. The tails of any reverb or delay effects in your setup can be configured to ring out when changing presets and/or turning off individual delay or reverb effects. This means that every transition with the Flex Prime will sound fluid and seamless, just like a professional studio recording.
